QUESTIONS

  • How do I book a stall at Glebe?
    You can either book a casual stall where a spot will be provided to you on the day by one of our managers. Or you can book a permanent stall and we will do our best to find the right spot for you if available.
  • Can I choose where I will be?
    If you are a permanent trader you will have a stall space you come back to each week. We will agree the location with you from the spaces at the market which are not already occupied by a permanent trader. If you are a casual trader ask a manager where to locate each time you come to the market.
  • Do I need insurance as a trader?
    Yes you do. It's $20 for the day which can be added at the time of booking. Or you can organise your own, which you can send proof of to the office when booking.
  • What time should I arrive if I'm a trader?
    Our 10min loading zones open at 7:00am. Here you can park, unload and then find a parking spot off the school grounds. You will need to find a park then take your stall items to your allocated spot. Cars must not be left unattended.
  • Where do I go if I'm a trader?
    We have two drop off zones: Derby Place entrance opens at 7:00am and closes at 9:45am. Derwent Street entrance opens at 7:00am and closes at 7:45am to allow for traders to set up their stalls in this area. Upon arrival please see one of our managers. Have your confirmation email with you if you have booked.
  • Can I just arrive on the day of market with no booking?
    Yes you can, yet we can't guarantee you a spot. We will have a QR code at the gate that you can scan to book a stall. If we are full you will go on standby in the case we have some stall holders not show on the day. See one of our managers and they will direct you to the available spot. The markets do get busy so its always best to pre book a stall.
  • What size are the stalls?
    All stalls are now 3m x 3m. If you have a smaller marquee you can still trade from the 3m x3m area. You will just have more space around you. This allows room for stalls that hang items on the edge of marquees while still using the 3m x 3m space and not overlapping into neighbours space.
  • Can I hire a table?
    Yes we are still hiring tables. They are $10. If you are a casual you can add one to your stall at time of booking, or book one on site when you arrive.
  • Do you hire marquees or clothes racks?
    Unfortunately we do not hire marquees or racks. You will need to bring your own if needed.
  • Are dogs allowed at glebe markets?
    No dogs are allowed on N.S.W public school grounds. This is for safety and hygiene reasons.
